Signs of a Haunting

Unexplained noises - such as something dropping, breaking glass, footsteps, banging, or scratching.  Sometimes these noises are very loud while at other times they are subtle.

Hearing voices - someone calling your name, whispers, or crying, or hearing muffled talking.

Doors or cupboards open and close -  usually unseen by the home owner; when they are sure that they didn't leave them that way.

Electricial and plumbing turns on an off -  T.V.'s, radios, childrens toys and electrical appliances, taps turning on and off by themselves or toilets flushing. 

Unexplained drafts -  Cold or hot spots in a home without a discernable cause.

Unexplained smells -  such as perfume, cigarette, cigars and foul odours.

Strange animal behaviour - Your pets may behave strangely to the unseen.   Dogs may bark or cower, or refuse to enter a room of the home.  Cats will seem to be watching something move around a room.

Feelings of being watched - especially in a particular area of the home or at a particular time.

Unexplained shadows - usually seen out of the corner of the eye, often human shaped but may be be smaller or flying through the air.

Invisible friends -  small children talk to people who are not there

Items disappearing and reappearing - items such as car keys may disappear and reappear in an obvious spot, sometimes weeks later.

Feelings of being touched - Some poeple feel something brush past them, a hand on the shoulder or hair, being poked or pushed.  Less often people will be assaulted with scratches, hard shoves, punches or slaps, but this is rare.

Moving or levitating Objects - being awoken to the bed shaking or someone sitting on the bed.  Very often at the foot of the bed.  Dinner plates sliding across the table; doors slamming shut with great force; furniture sliding across the floor; Pictures flying off the walls.  Objects such as children's toys levitating in the air.

Apparitions - seeing ghosts or other entities.  These sightings may be seen as indistinguishable forms or human shaped mists; transparent human forms, or people that look real or solid, and will quickly disappear.
